Overview

The Kalamazoo S6MS is a 6″ x 48″ industrial belt sander on a heavy-duty steel stand, built in Kalamazoo, Michigan. A 3 HP direct-drive motor runs the belt at 3,500 SFPM, and the sanding head sets flat, vertical, or anywhere in between, so one machine covers edge deburring, weld cleanup, tube and pipe ends, and flat surface prep.

Cast iron frame and base, a full OSHA steel belt guard, and a one-lever quick belt release make it a dependable daily station for fabrication shops, maintenance departments, tool rooms, and school shops. It takes any standard 6″ x 48″ belt, so you can run the grit and abrasive your work calls for, on steel, stainless, aluminum, and wood.
